It's a Baby!

Here we all are in our finery at one of our Christmas nativity performances. The children did a super job, and once they were on stage they started to appreciate why they had had to put in some hard work beforehand.

The children learn so much by putting on such a performance - teamwork, confidence, patience, and acting, singing and memory skills. Well done everyone.

Pumpkin discovery.

Mrs Sergeant's dad grew a pumpkin for us!  We decided that we would see how many seeds were inside. First of all we each got to pick our own lucky number on the hundred square. We then waited in anticipation to see who had chosen the lucky number.

We got up to 57 and had a winner!!

Later in the afternoon we took our pumpkin discovery one step further - we had roasted pumpkin!
Not everyone liked it, but we were pleased with ourselves if we were brave enough to try.

Healthy body, healthy mind!

In order to keep us focused and ready to learn, Sycamore Class is a class that needs to keep active. So here are some pictures of how we are managing to do this during our continuous provision.

We have been learning some hockey skills, and making up our own games and rules. This has really helped our collaborative team working too.

Keeping score....

We are also lucky enough to be able to use some bikes and trikes. Here we are using these on the school playground. These help our strength, co-ordination, balance and of course encourage us to play fairly and carefully. We love these bikes!
